Commercial soap may be great and affordable. However, for those who do have sensitive skin, it can get quite expensive.

Making your own soap is a great skill to have. They can be used for yourself, as gifts or even to sell. Finding the right ingredients and products is also essential to making a good bar of soap.

All Vegetable Oil Soap Recipe

Let's start with this recipe...you can find this recipe and more like this at ColeBrothers.com.

6 oz. coconut oil
3 oz. palm
7 oz. olive oil
2.35 oz. lye
6.4 oz. water

Now that we have all of our ingredients...start by pouring out 6.4 ounces of water in a pan.

Next...slowly add your lye to the water. Be sure to use gloves at the lye is very caustic. Stir until the lye completely dissolves.

Add all of your oils to the mix and stir with a stick blender until soap is as thick as pudding.

Pour soap into your selected mold and allow to rest covered for 24-48 hours.

Once soap is hard, take out of the mold to cure for a few weeks. Your soap should then be ready to use.
