Let's face it. You've got to clean your place. Breaking out in rashes, storing hazardous toxic material near your children, pets and family who can risk ingesting it is a small price to pay when you've got a stubborn spot. Right? Wrong! Most of the hazardous material better known as, "household cleaners" are plain and simply, are too dangerous for your household. Also, there can also be damage done to your wallet when most families spend hundreds of dollars each year on cleaning products.
So what's the solution? Take two steps back from the cleaning isle and three steps forward into the food isle. Surprisingly, your answer will be there. Vinegar and baking soda have proven themselves to be the best alternative to standard cleaning products. Vinegar can be used as a great sanitizer because of its highly acetic properties. It has been used as a carpet stain remover, counter-top sanitizer, bathroom cleaner, floor cleaner and even a laundry detergent.
And what about baking soda? Who's baking a cake anytime soon? Baking soda can do more for the household than prepare red velvet cake.Baking soda works as a great abrasive to remove stubborn stains on counter-tops and floors.
It's always important to be careful using these products on certain types of floors or counter tops as the vinegar is very acetic and can damage them.
