Why are you buying water?

When water runs through your tap why would you ever buy water? This is the question I asked myself when trying to save money on groceries. Bottled water can run up a hefty grocery tab and the more people in your family, the more you will need to buy. Wait?! Am I about to suggest you drink that "filthy" water from the tap? No. So how do you save money without having to drink the from the forbidden stream? Many families choose to cut costs by buying filters and other purifiers. While they may seem better, you can still run up a hefty tab on filter replacements and new purifiers when your water may not even really be that much cleaner.

Much research has been done to suggest that whatever method of filtration takes place in these filter systems, they do not completely get rid of the dirt, debris or bacteria that floats around. The number one solution has been and still is boiling. The main point of cleaning water is to kill the debris, not strain it as in the case of most filtration systems. This method has been used for centuries and still remains effective.

Purchase or obtain recycled bottles and properly sanitize them to keep your  boiled water. This is can save you up to thousands of dollars a year.
