How to Save Money on Groceries: Tip #1 Making Bread
When you stroll through the grocery store isles, you can't help but seeing at least three loaves of bread in many of the shopping carts that pass you by. It's no surprise because the average family seems to run through 2 to three loaves of bread a week.
From sandwiches to dinner rolls, bread can run up a high grocery tab. However, many families are cutting this cost by making their own bread. You can do so too by either buying a bread machine or doing so by hand. While it takes a lot of patience, it is well worth the costs you save when making it yourself.
King Arthur's bread flour works great for making bread. They often come in 5 lb bags and your choice of unbleached or whole wheat flour. Visit their website here for more info, reviews and tips.
